Training & Workshops Overview
Autism Upfront provides evidence-based, professional training designed to help educators, families, and community professionals understand autism clearly and confidently. Each workshop reflects our mission to clear the noise and highlight the facts by offering practical strategies, current research, and compassionate, strengths-based approaches.
Workshop Scheduling Availability
Workshop scheduling is available Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET. Workshop requests may take up to 2 business days for a response.
Requested workshops require a minimum of 5 participants. The requester is responsible for providing an appropriate workplace, educational, professional, or community meeting space. To request a workshop, please use the Contact page or email info@autismupfront.com

A 4-hour training designed for educators and school teams. This workshop covers autism within the context of neurodiversity, sensory and cognitive differences, and inclusive classroom practices. Participants leave with practical tools to support engagement, communication, and learning.
Covering Autism Responsibly: A Guide for Journalists and Media Professionals
Designed for reporters, editors, communications teams, and public-facing media professionals. This session focuses on accurate reporting, avoiding stereotypes, understanding autistic communication styles, and approaching autism coverage with dignity and factual accuracy.
Community Training Series: Autism Awareness for First Responders, Workplaces, and Public Agencies
A flexible series tailored to community needs, focusing on communication, safety, sensory differences, and practical ways to support autistic individuals in public and workplace settings. Train-the-trainer options are available.
The Diagnostic Journey: Understanding Evaluation, Eligibility, and Services
A comprehensive look at autism evaluation, diagnostic criteria, and navigating school- and community-based supports. This workshop helps families and professionals understand what evaluation means, how eligibility decisions are made, and how to access the right services.
Sensory Success: Strategies for Supporting Sensory Needs in Autism
This workshop provides an in-depth look at sensory processing differences and how they affect learning, behavior, and emotional regulation. Participants learn practical strategies to support sensory needs and reduce barriers to engagement.
Autism Treatment & Interventions: Evidence-Based, Anecdotal, and Unsafe Approaches
A critical review of autism interventions, including what is evidence-based, what is anecdotal but safe, and what is unproven or harmful. The workshop also addresses current misinformation trends, including restrictive diets, high-risk therapies, and unregulated supplements.
